What is the World Flower Show?

The World Flower Show is a global celebration of Floral Artistry that is held in a new part of the world every three years. The World Association of Floral Art (WAFA) is the organising body and in 2027 the Australian Floral Art Association (AAFA) are excited to host you to Sydney!

Bringing together florists, designers, and enthusiasts from across the globe, it serves as a prestigious platform for showcasing innovative floral creations, promoting cultural exchange through the art of flower arranging, and fostering a deeper appreciation for nature's beauty.

 

Beyond breathtaking displays and competitions, the show often includes educational seminars, trade exhibitions, and opportunities to connect with leading experts in the field.

World Association of
Flower Artists

​The World Association of Floral Artists (WAFA) is a not for profit, non partisan organisation of international floral art societies. It was formed in 1981.
​
Through its worldwide scope, WAFA enhances the diversity of the floral art form by transcending International cultural barriers and bringing together fresh ideas.
​​
WAFA is hosted by a new country every three years. During its tenure, the host country organises an International Seminar, stages a World Flower Show, convenes a General Assembly and plans other educational events.

Australian Floral Art Association

The Australian Floral Art Association Inc. (AFAA) is a not-for-profit organization that functions as the primary body for floral art within Australia. Its core purpose is to promote interest in floral art, encompassing its educational, competitive, social, and cultural dimensions.
 
The AFAA also strives to foster the exchange of information among its members and with international organizations, encourage the highest standards of floral art, strengthen bonds between members and global counterparts, and promote the training of Australian Floral Art Judges and demonstrators to world-class standards.
