During the show dates, Sydney Olympic Park will also host the Sydney Royal Easter Show. First held in 1823, the Sydney Royal Easter Show is a celebration of Australian culture, from our rural traditions to our modern day lifestyles, providing unique experiences for everyone.
Each WAFA entry ticket includes a complimentary admission to the Sydney Royal Easter Show, so you can experience World Class Floral exhibitions and explore iconic Australian culture in the same trip.


Mark Pampling
Mark Pampling is the creative force behind Flower Thinking – he thinks in flowers. Australia based, Mark is also a world-renowned Floral Designer and teacher who has won awards in many countries. He has established a reputation as an expert in floral design; his work is often described as 'clean' with an affinity for clearly prioritising lines and strong forms.

Mark is a two-time recipient of Australia’s top floristry prize and has placed highly in several international exhibitions.
David Berger
David has been engaged in every facet of Floristry within his career. Head Designer for David Jones Florist for 25 years David travelled throughout Australia installing the annual Spring Show - the largest cut flower display in the Southern hemisphere.

David is the Master Florist of New Zealand Professional Florists American Institute Floral Designers and four time Australian competitor at the World Cup of Floristry.

Clement Lee
In every role he undertakes, whether as a lecturer nurturing the next generation of florists or as a floral designer pushing the boundaries of creativity, he strives to inspire excellence and innovation.

Clement is a highly accomplished floristry professional, known for his expertise as a TAFE lecturer and his numerous accolades in competitive floristry, including winning the Interflora National Australia Cup.
Catherine Meads
Catherine's background in floristry, combined with a passion for gardening and world travels, provides endless inspiration that are at the heart of her work.​ She creates sculptural botanical designs in his studio, teaches workshops, presents demonstrations, and installs public art creations.
Deeply inspired by natural materials that might otherwise be overlooked, she strives to support local growers and suppliers by using seasonally grown flowers and greenery. Catherine aims to work harmoniously with nature by eliminating plastics and altered materials from her designs, with her commitment to learning and exploring new techniques to keeping her work evolving.




Bart Hassam
Born in Bundaberg, Bart's early passion for flowers led him to pursue floristry, including assisting Japanese Floral Designer Yoko Takahashi in Japan. After returning to Australia, he built a highly successful career, winning Interflora Australian Florist of the Year five times and the 2011 Intercontinental/Asia Cup. Bart later co-founded Maison Fleur Floral Design and now regularly exhibits, demonstrates, and teaches floral design worldwide.
Bart is highly decorated, being awarded Australian Interflora Florist of the Year 5 times among many other accolades. He has also taught, designed and demonstrated across 15 countries over his career.
